Amdocs recruitment
Hello!
Here I am going to mention what happens after you are referred through Amdocs Referral Program. First of all, you need to know someone who is working in Amdocs and who will refer you. (If you don't know anyone from Amdocs then you can't apply for the Referral Program). Amdocs also conducts campus placements, pool campus recruitment etc. where you won't require any reference.
The first round which comprises of mainly 4 sections -
I) Quantitative aptitude
II) Programming language (c/c++/java - anyone you want)
III) SQL
IV) UNIX.
Total number of question - 95.
There is sectional cutoff. It means you need to score well in every sectional. Suppose you get full marks in quantitative and 0 in java then you will not get selected. But if clear cutoff of all sections then you will be called for technical interview, later on, HR interview.
Now lets get into the details of these 4 sections -
I) Quantitative aptitude - Frankly speaking I didn't prepare for the aptitude at all. But I just saw the pattern, type and difficult level of the questions because I was only 2 days to prepare for all the 4 sections.
II) Programming language - There are many other blogs and sites which will give you some questions. But I will give you general overview.
NOTE - There was no negative marking when I gave the test. However, while preparing when I read some webpages there they have mentioned that at least 25% negative marking will be there.
TIP- Amdocs questions paper are ALWAYS set by "MeritTrack". So go through at least one question paper to understand the pattern and depth of questions.
